Members-only previews and events!
Member Preview Events
See new exhibitions with special members-only hours the day before exhibitions open to the public. These exhibitions will remain open late for members attending Thursday-night Member Preview events such as Curators’ Perspectives or performances to ensure you have time to explore new exhibitions after hours. Save the date for our first Member Preview of 2025 featuring Farm to Table: Art, Food, and Identity in the Age of Impressionism and Tennessee Harvest: 1870s–1920s on Thursday, January 30, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Member Mornings
Quarterly on select Sunday mornings, the museum will open two hours early exclusively for members. Enjoy docent-guided tours, and unique and delicious bites and beverages from Café Cheeserie.

Member Moments
Throughout the year, we’ve reserved time for you to see exhibitions and enjoy our galleries without the crowds.
During Member Moments, the first thirty minutes of the day in one gallery will be reserved exclusively for members. It’s a great time to view the featured exhibition at your own pace or enjoying a docent-guided tour.

Early Registration and Discounts for Public Programs
Members can register early for select events and receive discounts on some of our public events and workshops. We’ll let you know about these opportunities via membership newsletter emails, so check your inbox often. • Get more with exclusive discounts. Members can take advantage of all that FAM has to offer with discounts on classes, workshops, and parking.* Members also receive 10 percent off at the gift shop!
• Share your visit with a friend. Two single-use guest passes allow members to bring a guest into our galleries for free.
• Learn and stay informed. All members receive a subscription to the Frist Art Museum Bulletin, a print magazine with exclusive looks at current and upcoming exhibitions and programs.

Membership Cards
As a member, you can visit the Frist Art Museum before receiving your physical membership cards. All you need is your name and a valid ID while checking in at Guest Services. All plastic membership cards are processed and mailed on a regular basis and will arrive within a few weeks of your renewal.
