Call to Teen Artists
Submit your work by June 2.
Calling ALL teens from Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties! If you are between the ages of 13 and 19, we want to see your art. A jury of Frist Art Museum curators and educators will select artworks to be featured this summer in an online exhibition titled Teens Take the Frist! (July 16–September 13, 2020). Advisory: the exhibition will be accessible to all ages.
We invite you to submit one work of art for consideration. We will accept submissions only of 2-dimensional works. Make sure that your artwork meets all the terms and conditions on the submission form.
The Frist reserves the right to reproduce the submitted images and display those that have been selected for the duration of the show. The artist (and their parent/guardian, if the artist is under 18) must complete and sign press release, reproduction, and photo release forms upon request.
Advisory: This exhibition was originally slated for installation in a free public area accessible to all ages. The submission form, which contains terms and conditions for works on paper to be delivered to the museum, will be updated soon. We encourage you to submit your work without waiting for the new edition of the form; as details are confirmed, we will share them with entrants whose artwork we wish to feature in this year’s exhibition.
