I acknowledge that I am/my child is the sole and exclusive owner of all rights, including copyright, to the work of art (the “Work”) submitted to the Frist Art Museum (“FAM”) for possible inclusion in the 2024 Teens Take the Frist! exhibition. The work submitted is an original creation of mine/my child’s and does not infringe upon a third party’s copyright, intellectual property, or other rights. The Work I/my child have/has submitted does not include the image or likeness of any person, copyrighted works, or trademarks that are owned by any other person or entity, or private property owned by any other person or entity.

By submitting my artwork, I grant to FAM non-exclusive permission to document and publish the Work in print, audio recording, or other print or digital medium for archival, educational, promotional, and other purposes in support of the exhibition or the Frist Art Museum. I acknowledge that the Work I/my child have/has submitted does not invade the privacy of any person or publicize any matter of any person’s life that would be considered offensive to a reasonable person. No 3D works will be accepted. I/my child understand that I/my child may submit only one entry to this call. Written descriptions included with submissions may be edited for clarity or condensed. I acknowledge that I/my child resides in one of the following counties: Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Davidson, Dekalb, Dickson, Fentress, Franklin, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Macon, Marshall, Maury, Montgomery, Moore, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson, Rutherford, Sequatchie, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson, or Wilson. I acknowledge that the information submitted in this form may be published along with the Work if the Work is selected.

I/my child will defend, indemnify, and hold FAM harmless from and against any and all losses, liabilities, damages, and claims of any person or entity in connection with my/my child’s breach or alleged breach of my/my child’s warranties, representation, agreements, and undertakings hereunder.

I acknowledge that FAM reserves the right to select no more than 100 (one hundred) works for inclusion in this exhibition, and that FAM further reserves the right to select Works that do not, in FAM’s sole judgment, violate the restrictions set forth above.
