Thank you for your interest in helping the Frist Art Museum measure our impact in our community. The Frist is one of forty institutions including zoos, botanical gardens, history museums, and art museums from across the country participating in this research.

This study will measure the impact cultural organizations have on visitors across several metrics, including the ability to engage in lifelong learning, increased connection with friends and family, and even improved health outcomes.

Please read the requirements below. If you are interested in participating, please complete the participation form found at the link below by March 28, 2025.

We will notify you by April 4 if you have been selected to participate in the study.

Participation Requirements

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • If selected for this study, you are asked to visit the Frist Art Museum three times from April through September 2025.
  • After the third visit, you will be asked to complete a 30-minute survey to share how your experiences at the museum impacted various outcomes.
  • If you do not have internet access, we will provide a computer and space for you to take the survey or recommend options for access.


Benefits

  • You will receive free admission and parking in the Frist’s Visitor Lot on each of the three visits.
  • You may bring a plus one with you. In addition, children 18 years of age and younger are free.
  • You will receive Frist member benefits as a DUAL IMPACT member. After the submission of the survey following your third visit, your DUAL IMPACT membership will be extended for an additional six months.
  • At the conclusion of the survey, five randomly selected participants who complete the survey will be selected to receive an Access Plus membership for an additional year.


Things to know

The Frist may use quotes or other responses from the community impact survey in reports and publications. Any personal information will be kept confidential.

Your participation in the study is completely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time or refuse to participate entirely. There will be no penalty if such actions are taken except that will forfeit your Frist Art Museum free IMPACT membership.
