This exhibition featured 39 modern and contemporary images on the subject of childhood, created by some of the world’s most renowned photographers of the past four decades.
Included were photographs by Tina Barney, Dawoud Bey, Debbie Fleming Caffery, Keith Carter, William Eggleston, Nan Goldin, Simen Johan, Helen Levitt, Loretta Lux, Sally Mann, Mary Ellen Mark, Nic Nicosia, Nicholas Nixon, and Melissa Ann Pinney.

Organized for the Frist Art Museum by guest curator Rod Slemmons, director of the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College in Chicago.
