The Frist loves families! On select Sundays each month, join us for special kid-friendly programming, family tours, and multisensory gallery experiences.

Schedule of Events

Family ARTlab: 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Check out a drop-in Family ARTlab in Studio A! Create your own unique paper butterfly that actually flaps its wings! Just in time for Hispanic Heritage Month, this activity coincides with the great Monarch butterfly migration that happens every autumn. Millions of monarchs travel from the US and Canada all the way down to the Oyamel fir forests of Central Mexico to stay warm during the winter months. Can your butterfly fly all the way to Mexico in time for Día de los Muertos?
