Are you age 15–18 and interested in collaborating in an artistic environment with peers and professional artists? If so, TAAG is for you! Successful applicants will work with Frist educators and mentors to plan and promote teen programs. TAAG members will work with one another and engage with some of the area’s most innovative artists while developing leadership and professional skills. Time devoted to TAAG may be used to fulfill required service hours.
Events planned by TAAG will include:
- Teen Artlabs—free art classes taught by local professional artists throughout the year
- Teen Fall Festival—a yearly art festival
- Teens Take the Frist!—a summer art show with a theme chosen by TAAG, featuring art submitted by Middle Tennessee teens
- Teens Take the Frist! Opening Reception—art activities, performances, and more to celebrate the art show’s opening
2027 applications are now open and will close September 18.
