PARKING
Parking in Frist Art Museum lots is reserved for those visiting the Frist Art Museum, volunteers and staff only and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Frist Art Museum parking is accessible from Demonbreun Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues. The Visitor Lot is located adjacent to the south side of the building with the entrance kiosk located near Demonbreun Street. When parking in the Frist Art Museum lot, please bring your parking ticket with you inside the building. We will provide you with a validation coupon when you check in at the Member Desk or purchase your admission ticket. Rates are posted at the entrance to the parking lot.
There are accessible parking spaces in the northeast corner of the Frist Art Museum lot, with a barrier-free crosswalk and entry into the Turner Courtyard at the entrance marked with an accessibility sign.
HOURS
Visitor parking begins 30 minutes before the museum’s doors (10:00 a.m. Mondays–Saturdays and noon on Sundays). The lot closes at 3:00 a.m. No cars are allowed in the lot between 3:00 a.m. and 30 minutes before opening.
We encourage carpooling and using rideshare services. You may also want to consider using MTA’s Park & Ride service.
PARKING RATES
Frist Art Museum visitors: $2 per hour / $20 daily maximum
Parking for non-visitors: $10 per hour / $30 daily maximum
(Only credit cards are accepted for payment for parking; no cash accepted)
A flat rate parking fee may apply for certain special events.
Parking is at a premium in our area, but there are other lots nearby. Unfortunately, the Frist Art Museum does not control them, nor are we able to validate tickets from them. There is a parking lot on 10th Avenue directly across the street from Cummins Station. There is also parking available in the Gateway Parking Lot behind Union Station, accessible from an entrance just past the Flying Saucer restaurant on 10th Avenue.

DIRECTIONS
Traveling west on I-40 or north on I-65, take I-40 West when the interstate splits, then take Exit #209A, “Broadway.” Turn right on Broadway. Turn right on 9th Avenue South, just past the Frist Art Museum. Take an immediate right past the Frist Art Museum (onto McGavock) to access Frist Art Museum parking and main entrance.
Traveling east on I-40 or south on I-65, take Exit #209B, “Broadway/Demonbreun.” Turn left on Broadway. Turn right on 9th Avenue South, just past the Frist Art Museum. Take an immediate right past the Frist Art Museum (onto McGavock) to access Frist Art Museum parking and main entrance.
Traveling from Downtown Nashville on Broadway, take a left onto 9th Avenue South, just past the Kefauver Federal Building. Take an immediate right past the Frist Art Museum (onto McGavock) to access Frist Art Museum parking and main entrance.
