In collaboration with the Land Trust for Tennessee, Nashville Metro Parks and Recreation and a number of professional photographers, the Frist Art Museum conducted a two-week landscape photography mentorship program for thirty 14- through 18-year-olds.

The teaching team, comprised of Frist Art Museum educators, landscape photographers and land conservationists, presented photography and environmental art lessons that addressed and celebrated the heritage, preservation and beauty of Middle Tennessee landscapes. After having completed the photography lessons, participants worked with the landscape photographers to select their best works for exhibition.

Student photographs were accompanied with personal narratives written by the participants.
