Women students, emerging artists, and creatives are invited to join an intimate networking experience with artists featured in In Her Place: Nashville Artists in the Twenty-First Century.

Designed to cultivate meaningful connections and community, this event offers the opportunity to engage directly with exhibiting artists. Through a series of one-on-one conversations, each participant will be matched with four artists based on shared interests, taking part in focused twenty-minute exchanges that create space to ask questions, share work, and deepen connections within Nashville’s creative community.

Whether you’re seeking insight into a professional creative practice, guidance on navigating the arts, or simply the chance to connect, you’ll gain valuable perspective from working artists in a supportive and welcoming environment.

What to Expect

  • Four one-on-one conversations with In Her Place artists
  • Curated pairings tailored to your interests and creative practice
  • Twenty-minute “huddles” designed for focused, meaningful exchange
  • Opportunities to exchange ideas, resources, and experiences

Participants will receive a brief questionnaire after registering to help inform artist pairings.
