Presented by Jess Pouncy

Join Jess Pouncy for this kawaii (cute) family workshop inspired by Journey through Japan: Myths to Manga. Born from Japan’s vibrant manga and anime culture of the 1970s, the kawaii aesthetic blossomed into a global sensation by the 1990s, inspiring an explosion of colorful accessories, fashion, and playful designs. From cute backpacks to quirky school supplies, kawaii has become a lifestyle embraced by fans worldwide.

In this workshop, participants will create Kawaii charms—perfect for decorating backpacks, phones, water bottles, and more. Get ready to add a pop of cuteness to your everyday essentials!

This ARTlab is just one of the activities that are a part of Family Sunday.
