Join the Frist Art Museum for a figure-drawing workshop led by Robert Scobey. Work with charcoal and pencil to sketch a live, draped model with poses inspired by the sculptures of Augustus Saint-Gaudens and Daniel Chester French on view in our Upper-Level Galleries.


About the Teaching Artist

Robert Scobey (BA Lipscomb University; MFA Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, 2009) is an interdisciplinary artist from Nashville. He currently teaches foundations at Watkins College of Art at Belmont University. His paintings were featured in New American Paintings no. 136.

All materials are provided. Ages 18+ only. All skill levels are welcome.
