Join J.R. Ramsey, local artist and program coordinator from Cheekwood Estate and Gardens, for a beginner floral arrangement workshop inspired by The Impressionist Revolution: Monet to Matisse from the Dallas Museum. Students will explore the exhibition, learn about the fundamentals for floral design, and create their own bouquet based on a painting they pick from the show.

This ARTlab is a part of the Frist’s Twenty-Fifth Birthday Celebration and Frist Arts Fest! Bouquets made in this class will be on display from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, during Frist Arts Fest. The class includes tickets to see your bouquet on display and to bring friends and family to show off your work! Bouquets may be picked up after 5:00 p.m. on March 28. You may opt out of displaying your bouquet, but we highly encourage participation!
