The House of Fabergé is renowned for the magnificent jewelry and decorative objects it created for the Russian imperial family and wealthy patrons throughout Europe in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This exhibition presented 40 works from the Forbes Magazine Collection, displaying the stylistic breadth and astonishing virtuosity of Fabergé‘s finest designers and craftsmen. Included were examples of the famed Imperial Easter eggs; intricate jewelry; exquisite gem-encrusted boxes, picture frames and cigarette cases; and ornamental and sculptural silver.

This exhibition was organized by and for the Frist Art Museum exclusively.
