In celebration of The Impressionist Revolution: Monet to Matisse from the Dallas Museum of Art, the Nashville Opera’s Mary Ragland Emerging Artists will present a forty-five-minute impressionist recital. This curated performance features exquisite vocal and piano works by impressionist composers, mirroring the light, color, and atmosphere found in the galleries. This performance is free and open to the public, offering a unique way to experience the harmony between visual and performing arts.

About the Nashville Opera’s Mary Ragland Emerging Artist Program

The Nashville Opera’s Mary Ragland Emerging Artist program, founded in 1996, is a cornerstone of the company’s commitment to fostering the next generation of opera singers. Named after the company’s founder, Metropolitan Opera singer Mary Ragland, the program features five up-and-coming artists each season.

This program is presented in partnership with the Nashville Opera.
