About the Artist
Raised on the southern outskirts of Nashville, Chip Greene grew up with a very different kind of Music City looming in the distance. It was there, in a city fueled by art and filled with starry-eyed musicians, that Greene launched his career as a piano-pounding songwriter. His wide range of musical influences are reflected in his ability to explore and transcend musical genres. Greene’s songs have charted in CMJ, been featured on SiriusXM and heard in projects by MTV, Sprite, Delta Airlines, Eddie Bauer, and more. He opened a theater tour for Americana-Blues troubadour Paul Thorn that included a live Nashville Sunday Night broadcast on legendary WRLT Lightning 100. Hailed by American Songwriter as “a quintessential representation of the Nashville rock scene,” Chip is a reminder that Nashville is more than country.
