Presented by Susan Lyell Young

Come make a French market bouquet with Susan Lyell Young and Carter Dawson of Botanica. Using only flowers from local farms, you’ll learn how to select seasonal flowers for a hand-tied bouquet. We will cover sourcing, design, technique, and local flower farming. All levels of experience are welcome.

About Susan Lyell Young

Born and raised in Nashville, Susan Lyell Young has been a gardener for over thirty years and is a collector of antique and heirloom roses. She owns a flower farm and provides fresh, organic specialty flowers to local florists and flower lovers. Her specialty is coaxing spring bulbs into bloom during the cold winter months, growing more than ten thousand bulbs annually indoors and out. She grows, educates, and consults on gardens and garden design, sharing her passion for plants with anyone who will listen and passing on her experience and wisdom to growers at all levels. Her two businesses, Restoration Rose and Restoration Rose Farm keep her pretty busy, but in her spare time, she is an attorney.
