2025 Membership Updates - Frist Art Museum

The Frist Art Museum is excited to offer updated membership options and benefits beginning January 1, 2025. We have made these updates to simplify and streamline our membership program while adding enhancements many members have requested.

As a current Frist Art Museum member, what do these changes mean for you?

All benefits that you currently receive under your 2024 membership level will be carried over into 2025 until your renewal date in the new year. For example, if you have unused Guest Passes, you can still use those until your renewal date in 2025.
You will also receive new benefits without having to take any action to activate your new membership level.
Depending on your membership level, your current membership level name may change.

What other membership changes are coming in 2025?

A brand-new membership level, Explorer, available to residents of Davidson, Cheatham, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, or Wilson Counties with a household income of $40,000 or less for individuals or $80,000 or less for households with two adults. The Explorer membership will be available free of charge to qualifying households thanks in part to the Dettwiller Foundation. This level provides access to the museum at no cost and discounted parking but does not include other membership discounts or subscriptions. Verification of residence is required upon application. Look for more information in January.
More exclusive moments in the museum! Member Preview times will include Thursday evening after-hours gallery time. The museum will remain open later for members during Member Preview events. (More details to come.)
A new membership level for our most generous Friends. In 2025, a Friend VIP at $1,000 will receive guaranteed invitations to select VIP events, travel opportunities, a printed invitation to the annual Frist Gala, and one complimentary exhibition catalogue.

• Free admission to the museum
• Discounted parking—limit 3 hours per visit

• 10 percent discount in the gift shop

• Member priority check-in
• Invitations to member events
• Digital subscription to member magazine
• Digital member card

I am a current Dual or Dual Senior member

My new 2025 membership level will be: Dual

My 2025 benefits:
• Free admission to the museum for two adults
• Discounted parking—limit 3 hours per visit
• Discounted classes and workshops
• 10 percent discount in the gift shop

• Member priority check-in

I am a current Family member

My new 2025 membership level will be: Access Plus

My 2025 benefits:
• Free admission to the museum for two adults
• Ability to designate a caregiver to household’s membership
• Reciprocal admission to more than 1,000 museums in the North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) and Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM) programs
• $5 discount per guest admission for up to four guests per visit
• Physical member magazine subscription
• Physical member cards
• Discounted parking—limit 3 hours per visit
• Discounted classes and workshops
• 10 percent discount in the gift shop
• Additional gift shop discount on Member Shopping Day
• Member priority check-in
• Invitations to member events

I am a current Friend member

• Admission price for one guest waived with each visit
• Free parking with each visit (up to three hours)
• Early access to selected events and programs
• Reserved VIP seating during exhibition opening events
