Since 2001, the Frist Art Museum has brought internationally acclaimed exhibitions to our community, exposing many to contemporary art for the first time. The appetite for the art of our time has grown and continues to impact the local art scene. With this acute appreciation in mind, the Friends of Contemporary Art was started in 2015 to support the Frist’s organization and presentation of contemporary exhibitions. Consider joining the Friends of Contemporary Art today.

In appreciation for supporting contemporary art at the Frist, we extend the following opportunities to Friends:

• Chances to meet contemporary artists and visit their studios
• Exclusive travel offers
• Access to Frist Art Museum curators through special gatherings
• VIP access to Frist Art Museum contemporary art events
• Social gatherings with other contemporary art enthusiasts
