About the Instructor

Beth Reitmeyer is a visual artist who likes to make people happy with her colorful installations. Her work investigates landscapes and the joy of unexpected yet beautiful spaces and places that are discovered as one explores the land and structures within it: clouds, rivers, waterfalls, caves, geodes, and stars. These environments allow viewers to explore the land and get to know one another in a more profound way, providing a space for renewal and hope for persevering.

Reitmeyer loves to make things with people, mentoring artists of the next generation. She teaches at Drakes Creek Middle School, Western Kentucky University, and the Frist Art Museum.
