A native of Bologna, Sister Caterina Joy completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Bologna. Now a Dominican Sister of St. Cecilia, she offers an insider’s perspective about the pivotal presence of the Dominican Order in Bologna from medieval times to the present. Join her for a talk in which she will share insights into the Dominicans’ spiritual and intellectual lives to help viewers gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the beauty and purpose of the manuscripts and artworks featured in Medieval Bologna: Art for a University City.
