Open to educators of all subjects, pre-K–12; limited to 15 participants
During this workshop, educators will have the opportunity to:
- Explore Art and Imagination in Spanish America, 1500–1800: Highlights from LACMA’s Collection
- Engage in a guided tour, learning about the creative power Spanish America developed through complex artistic interactions between Indigenous, European, African, and Asian artistic traditions
- Participate in conversations and cross-curricular dialogue
- Take part in an art-making activity inspired by the exhibition
