Open to educators of all subjects, pre-K–12. Limited to 20 participants. Register by February 28.
During this workshop, examine artworks by Alma W. Thomas, who in 1972 became the first Black American woman to have a solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Participate in a gallery tour of Alma W. Thomas: Everything Is Beautiful and studio activities, receive teaching materials, and discuss curriculum connections.
