Join the Frist Art Museum for this printmaking workshop led by Kim Dummons and Kathleen O’Connell. In this workshop inspired by the exhibition Carving a New Tradition: The Art of LaToya M. Hobbs, participants will design and print unique patterned papers to be collaged onto relief-carved wood panels.


About the Teaching Artists

Kimberly Dummons, originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, teaches in foundations at Middle Tennessee State University. Her work is largely sculpture, print, and collage.

Kathleen O’Connell is a printmaker, book artist, and perpetual organizer—things that inform her artistic practice. She teaches Print Media at Middle Tennessee State University.
