Join us for this studio workshop to explore some of the processes and techniques used by Matthew Ritchie through painting. Participants will create paintings by layering and stacking information and will explore different image-transfer techniques employing lightboxes, projectors, and rubbings. 

Robert Scobey is an interdisciplinary artist from Nashville, Tennessee. He obtained his BA from Lipscomb University and MFA from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He currently teaches drawing at Nashville’s Academy of Make Up Arts. His paintings have been featured in New American Paintings #136.
