Alma W. Thomas found beauty all around her, including in her own backyard garden. Join us for this studio workshop to find your own inspiration from nature. First, participants will create a small floral arrangement using fresh seasonal flowers with Amelia’s Flowers. During the second part of the class, teaching artist Ashley Mintz will lead participants in making a small acrylic painting inspired by their arrangements and the works in the exhibition Alma W. Thomas: Everything Is Beautiful.

Founded by Mattie Bush, Amelia’s Flower Truck started in early 2016. What started as a simple idea to make flowers more accessible to the people of Nashville has quickly blossomed into a beautiful business of three mobile flower shops and two brick-and-mortar stores.
