Cost: $60 members; $75 not-yet-members (all supplies, gallery admission, and parking validation included)

Join us for this studio workshop inspired by the exhibition Matthew Ritchie: A Garden in the Flood. Participants will engage in a variety of drawing exercises that explore the line as both mark and movement through space and time while considering themes in Ritchie’s work such as multisensory perception, chaos, and elements of chance.

Robert Scobey is an interdisciplinary artist from Nashville, Tennessee. He obtained his BA from Lipscomb University and MFA from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He currently teaches drawing at Nashville’s Academy of Make Up Arts. His paintings have been featured in New American Paintings #136.
