Join us for an immersive perfumery workshop led by Sanae Barber, a master perfumer specializing in raw materials, as we explore the rich olfactory traditions of the Ottoman Empire and Venice, two vibrant cultures celebrated for their luxurious fragrances. Throughout the session, each guest will have the opportunity to create their own custom-designed perfume, guided by historical insights and aromatic techniques from the era. Together, we will explore the meanings and uses of raw materials in daily life, uncovering how scents shape social customs, rituals, and personal expression.
This interactive experience is inspired by the exhibition Venice and the Ottoman Empire, offering a unique sensory journey into the past and a chance to craft your own fragrant tour de force. Each guest will leave with their very own creation.
