Education is at the heart of all we do at the Frist Art Museum!

By looking at, talking about, and making art, we hope to provide our visitors with multiple pathways to a rich experience of art. All interpretive materials, education programs, and activities are developed to engage the visitor, inspire creativity, and increase understanding of the visual arts.

Programs and activities are offered to visitors of all ages, from those 18 years of age and younger to young adults to lifelong learners. From lectures and gallery talks to workshops and films—whatever your age, we hope that you’ll find new and exciting things at the Frist Art Museum, whether you’re in our building, online, or at an event hosted by one of our many community partners!
