Educators will explore the exhibition Treasures from the House of Alba: 500 Years of Art and Collecting and learn about Spain’s House of Alba—a prominent noble family with ties to the Spanish monarchy since the fifteenth century. The collection, which features works by Goya, Murillo, Rubens, Titian, and others, as well as handwritten documents and maps by Christopher Columbus, will serve as a source of inspiration as educators take part in hands-on portrait activities and explore curriculum connections.
