Workshop: Coin Design with Brent Oglesbee


April 27: 6:00–8:00 p.m. Meet at the Rome exhibition entrance.
April 28 and 29: 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. in Studio B at the Clay Lady’s Campus (1416 Lebanon Pike, Nashville)

$70 members; $80 not-yet-members (gallery admission, parking validation, and materials included).

Ages 18 and older only, please. All skill levels welcome.

What has a head and a tail, but no legs? A coin! Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the art of coin design with sculptor Brent Oglesbee, a professor at Western Kentucky University. After touring Rome: City and Empire, join Brent at the Clay Lady’s Campus to design and sculpt a clay relief, using coins in the exhibition as your inspiration.
